Our situation has finally progressed to the point where we can arrange for curb-side pickup now! At the immediate moment this is only available by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule payment and pickup. Soon we will establish definite days and times that someone will be on location to take phone orders and handle more spur of the moment purchases!
If you have any questions about stock, payments, pickups, or anything in general, feel free to email us anytime!
We have some more options available for your Clockwork Art Halloween needs! Come check them out while the season is upon us!
We're all restocked on B. Fuller's wonderful test tube teas just in time for all the cold and wet weather!
Halloween will be here before you know it, and we have plenty of horror themed cats from the marvelous Braden Duncan to help celebrate with! We have cards, stickers, magnets, and prints, and if we don't have it in-store, we can usually get what you're looking for pretty quick. We also have many other cats, birds, and bunnies to peruse, as well as our usual fare. Come take a look!
We've finally restocked our selection of Fox Estacado items! This means more Sherlock themed bath salts and toilet sprays for those running low, as well as more Harry Potter and Sherlock themed totes and artwork. And, of course, more Wonder Woman pins!
It is with great sadness that we announce that there will be no Steamposium this year. We hope that this will simply be a pause and that it will return next year with great fanfare! We will be sure to keep our followers up to date on events as we hear of them.
That being said, we continue to carry many things of interest created by the fine artists that normally attend Steamposium, so if you're missing the Artist Alley or Vendor's Hall give our store and website a thorough look!
This month's Throwback Thursday celebrates the 25th anniversary of Sleepless in Seattle! Widower Sam Baldwin leaves Chicago for Seattle after the death of his wife. Unable to move on, he tells his story on national radio and catches the attention of Baltimore reporter Annie Reed.
The second of several movies featuring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan as a romantic duo (the first having been Joe vs. the Volcano), Meg Ryan was actually far from the first choice for the role of Annie Reed. The part was declined by Julia Roberts, Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Jodie Foster.
Throwback Thursday is a monthly free screening of the classics at the Edmonds Theater! Doors open at 7:30; movie at 8:00.
Unsurprisingly to people on our Meetup, our Book Club meets at seven on the fourth Thursday of every month, making this month's the 22nd! We like to give attention to women, PoC, and new voices in Sci-Fi and Fantasy!
Come pick up a copy and join in the fun--there's still time to read a great book before the 22nd!
Established in June 2012, Otherworlds is co-owned and operated by the hapless Brynn and Ahren, encouraged and enabled by Braden, Angela, Taryn, Megan, and Nora (You know who you are)(We love you guys).
